A Rare Case of Low-grade Appendicular Mucinous Neoplasm Presenting as Ileocolic Intussusception

Appendiceal mucinous neoplasms are rare and account for just 0.6 percent of gastrointestinal malignancies approximately 0.7-1 appendicectomy specimens. Most the appendicular detected incidentally. We, herein, report images a case 76 years old male patient who presented with dull pain in lower abdomen palpable lump right abdomen. A contrast enhanced computed tomography scan revealed an ileo-colic intussusception. He underwent laparoscopic quarter colectomy anastomosis followed by uneventful post-operative recovery. The histopathology low grade appendiceal neoplasm clear resecton margins.
